1ST AMERICAN HALLOWEEN My first American Halloween started way earlier than the 31 October. It's tradition that most of the families decorate their houses. So we decorated our house maybe one week before Halloween and I started to fall in love with Halloween decorations and all that creepy stuff:) It's so pretty to walk along the street or if you drive pass all these little American houses and you see a bunch of cute decorations and pumpkins all over the places. To be honest I wasn't a big fan of Halloween before but now I definitely am! It's just because everybody is in that Halloween-Vibe:) When it gets darker the fairy lights are on and it's sooooo pretty!!! The weekend before Halloween two of my friends and I went to a big farm near our town and on this farm they had one of the Halloween attractions. It's called "Terror in the Corn". Basically you walk through a cornfield and there are people who are dressed up as creepy people or clow

soon three months down six days until I'm here for three months. I think the time passed pretty quickly and I didn't have one day where I thought about how slowly everything goes. Three months full of new impressions and a new culture, new people, new family and new school. Of course there are days where I would love to go back but than I just think about that this time here is never going to come back and that I have to enjoy as much as possible and thanks Colorado for being such a beautiful place to stay! My host family is still awesome and even if the puppy is a crazy puppy I love her! The first semester of school is almost done just six weeks left...it feels like the time flies away. It's already November and the days are getting colder and shorter.  I got a ski-pass for a huge part of the near Rocky Mountains and so I'm really excited to snowboard soon. I just rent my snowboard, boots and helmet. It already snowed three times but just for one day and then

I mean I can understand why it may is a special birthday for teenagers in America, because they can drive. So to be honest my birthday didn't start that good, I was kind of sad to celebrate my birthday without my family. It was the first time that I was away from home on my birthday. But I got around 50 messages from Switzerland. My friends, my relatives and close friends of my family wrote me and wished me a great birthday. That was really great and thanks again I appreciated that! It was just a reminder that my life in Switzerland is still where it was three months ago and that it would still be there in eight months. I went to school and the messages didn't stop. I met my friends and in German they also celebrated me. At lunch, I skyped with my parents and my sisters. I thought it would be hard to do that but in the end I think it was
